woman and daughter with Alzheimer's who shared their caregiver success story

Welcome to AlzheCare

AlzheCare.com was born from a deeply personal journey with my grandmother, who has been living with Alzheimer’s disease. Over the past two years, her condition has progressively worsened, presenting numerous challenges for our family as we’ve navigated her care.

One of the most memorable struggles we faced was her nighttime restlessness. Often, she would wake up and play the piano, disrupting my grandfather’s sleep. As her primary caregiver, this created even more stress for him, and it became clear we needed to find solutions that would work for our family.

In the beginning, we turned to the internet, hoping to find guidance on how to handle the challenges of caring for aging parents and grandparents. While there were some resources available, we found a lack of comprehensive support—particularly in languages other than English. Very few resources were available in Chinese, which made it even harder for our family to find information that resonated with us.

Through this experience, our family learned invaluable lessons about managing both the day-to-day and long-term issues associated with Alzheimer’s. These lessons became the inspiration behind AlzheCare.com—a platform designed to bring together research, practical solutions, and personal stories to support families like ours.

AlzheCare is here to consolidate knowledge and create a space where caregivers can find both useful resources and emotional support. From articles and videos to personal anecdotes and caregiving strategies, we offer insights that help families face the unique challenges of Alzheimer’s. Our goal is to raise awareness, share practical solutions, and build a community where caregivers can connect and feel understood.

Whether you’re just beginning your caregiving journey or looking for additional resources, AlzheCare is here to offer support and guidance every step of the way. Join us as we create a space for empathy, shared experience, and practical solutions. Together, we can navigate the complexities of Alzheimer’s with strength and compassion.

Our Mission

At AlzheCare, our mission is to create a supportive, inclusive online community for families, caregivers, and individuals affected by Alzheimer’s disease. We aim to offer more than just medical information—we want to provide a platform where people can share their personal stories, experiences, and insights to help each other navigate the complexities of caregiving. By fostering open dialogue, we hope to build a network that empowers users to find solutions, offer support, and connect with others who truly understand their journey.
